ST51 Series microSD™ EXPRESS Card Connector

The JAE Electronics ST51 series microSD EXPRESS-compatible card connector is designed to support the increasing need for faster data transfer and higher-performance memory interfaces in advanced ICT devices. Leveraging the PCIe®/NVMe® interface, the connector offers significantly faster read/write speeds than UHS-I and UHS-II cards and connectors.

Backward compatibility with all previous microSD cards is supported, though performance is limited to UHS-I speeds and signaling. The ST51 incorporates a robust push-push eject mechanism with large eject stroke from improved usability. It also features enhanced EMC countermeasures and an optimized structure for heat dissipation to ensure stable operation under high-speed conditions. Additional elements include a card detection switch, strong mechanical locking for vibration and shock resistance, and a durable multi-point hold-down structure. These attributes make the ST51 an excellent fit for next-generation devices requiring compact, high-speed removable memory.
