X-NUCLEO-SRC1M1 USB Type-C® Power Delivery Source Expansion Board
STMicroelectronics' expansion board allows assessment of the TCPP02-M18 port protection device features
STMicroelectronics' X-NUCLEO-SRC1M1 expansion board enables the evaluation of the features of the TCPP02-M18 port protection device for compliance with the USB Type-C specification. It provides protection for VBUS and CC lines suitable for demonstrating source operation of the USB Type-C connector when a compatible external source is connected.
The board can be stacked on any STM32 Nucleo-64 development board with STM32 MCU embedding Power Delivery (UCPD) peripherals to allow full host data or dual role data (DRD) functionality. It can also be stacked on STM32 Nucleo-64 development boards without UCPD support to evaluate performance with basic USB Type-C operations. The X-NUCLEO-SRC1M1 is compliant with the latest USB Type-C and Power Delivery specifications. A companion software package (X-CUBE-TCPP) is available with suitable application examples.
