High-Current DC Power Connectors Rated up to 20 A

The Tensility high-current DC plug and jack series expands the Tensility power connector lineup with robust solutions designed for demanding power applications. The series includes three mating pairs of through-hole DC jacks and inline cable plugs available in 5.5 mm × 2.5 mm, 7.4 mm × 5.1 mm, and 7.9 mm × 5.6 mm form factors.

These connectors support 48 V and current ratings up to 20 A, providing reliable power delivery for high-current applications. Gold-plated contacts reduce contact resistance and resist oxidation, helping maintain stable conductivity over repeated mating cycles. The connectors use high-temperature thermoplastics for insulation, including PBT and LCP, enabling the series to operate in demanding environments. This construction supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +150°C for plugs and -40°C to +200°C for jacks while maintaining consistent electrical performance. Each connector is rated for up to 5,000 mating cycles, supporting long-term durability in power applications.
