AH1912/AH1913 Hall Effect Switches

Diodes’ AH1912 and AH1913 are Hall effect switches with a hibernating clocking system and an average supply current of only 12 µA at 1.8 V. These make them a perfect fit for battery-powered consumer products, smartphones, E-meters, smoke detectors, and IoT devices. The devices can operate on a wider range of supply voltage (1.6 V to 5.5 V) and support low-voltage system microcontrollers, providing excellent flexibility for system design. The advanced chopper-stabilized design provides superior stability on switch-operating point over temperature and supply voltage range. The high ESD level of up to 6 kV helps improve the system’s robustness. The output is activated with either a north or south pole of sufficient magnetic field strength. When the magnetic flux density (B) perpendicular to the package is larger than operate point (B_OP), the output turns on (pulled low) and holds until B is lower than the release point (B_RP). AH1912 and AH1913 Hall effect switches are available in industry-standard SC59 and X1-DFN1216-4 packages.
