RWS-B Series Power Supplies

TDK-Lambda's RWS-B series of AC-DC power supplies are designed to provide solid, reliable performance. The power supplies are backed by a seven-year warranty and are designed for an electrolytic capacitor service life of at least ten years. The product line has seven power levels in compact case sizes rated at 50 W, 100 W, 150 W, 300 W, 600 W, 1000 W, and 1500 W. In addition, the RWS1000-B/ME and RWS1500-B/ME models are certified to the IEC/UL/EN 60601-1 medical standard.

The 50 W, 100 W, and 150 W models are convection-cooled and the higher power units have an integral fan. All models offer overvoltage, overcurrent protection, and meet SEMI F47 at high line AC input (>200 V_AC). All non-medical models meet Class B conducted and radiated EMI. Selected models offer options, including a 5 V_DC standby, remote on-off, remote sense, DC good, PCB coating, parallel operation, fan alarm signal, and reverse airflow.

Operating from a universal input of 47 Hz to 63 Hz, 85 V_AC to 265 V_AC, the RWS-B series has models available with nominal outputs of 5 V_DC, 12 V_DC, 15 V_DC, 24 V_DC, 28 V_DC, 36 V_DC, and 48 V_DC with an adjustment range of a minimum of ±10%. The series is suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial, test and measurement, broadcast, communications, LED signage, and semiconductor fabrication. The RWS1000-B/ME and RWS 1500-B/ME medical versions suitable for B and BF rated healthcare equipment.
